Our New Graduate RN Program provides RNs with everything they need to transition from school to the hospital floor. Residents become part of a health care team based on non-hierarchal relationships and collegiality.

About our program

Operated by our Clinical Academy, a highly distinguished and accredited institution, we focus on educating and supporting our new graduate RNs in a number of evidence-based ways.

Core fundamentals

  • All units attend together
  • Mix of classroom and virtual learning
  • Completed over 6-12 months
  • Meet an average of 4 hours each month
  • Focus on: professional development, research, certifications, death and dying, nurse fitness and more

Specialty courses

  • Start immediately, coinciding with core fundamentals
  • Specific to both your chosen specialty and assigned unit
  • Average of 4 months
  • 8-hour classes with required pre-class prep time
  • Hands-on training
  • Simulation Lab used

Support & guidance

  • One-on-one time with a Senior Nurse mentor from another specialty unit
  • 6 month mentorship program with paid monthly meetings
  • Onboarding assistance
  • Preceptorships helping you work with your first patients
