Caregiver Voices

At Covenant, you means you. It’s important to us that our caregivers bring their whole selves to work and feel a sense of belonging, so we strive to foster and sustain an inclusive and equitable environment for everyone, including patients and guests. But don’t just take it from us—check out what our caregivers have to say about their experiences with advancement, relocation, and the community.

PRISM LGBTQIA+ Caregiver
Resource Group

We cultivate belonging at Covenant through Caregiver Resource Groups. RN Stetson, a member of our PRISM LGBTQIA+ group, says, “The culture of inclusivity is really important to me. I remember growing up and feeling not always accepted. At Covenant, we have a lot of resources to make people feel included. Being a part of PRISM has really helped me get to know my own community around me at Covenant and within the local community of Lubbock.”

“Our community has people from all walks of life. And for us to be able to take better care of our community, it’s best for us to have a diverse population of caregivers and leaders. Covenant Health is a place where you can be yourself and find opportunity. It is a place you can call home.”

Working toward health equity for all

We believe health is a human right. Every person deserves the chance to live their healthiest life. But we recognize that long-standing inequities and systemic injustices exist in the world. This has led to health disparities among communities that have been marginalized because of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion, or socioeconomic status.

Covenant is part of the Providence family of organizations. Here’s how we’re working toward health equity for all .
