Providence is calling a Compliance Auditor who will: -- 5/25 - Hold pending HM JD edits
Perform Provider/Coder compliance audits
Audit Integrity Hot Line Complaints as they relate to professional billing
Receive ad hoc risk requests from the Department of Legal Affairs related to Professional Billing coding billing throughout PSJH enterprise wide
Stay current with official coding guidelines and regulations
Ensure the proper coding and billing of supportive documentation within the medical records
Obtain, record and report essential data
Assist in problem solving of coding issues and act as a subject matter expert for system leaders, regional compliance, providers & coding staff
Perform all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy
Serve as a role model for the values and mission of the organization
We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, California, Nevada, New Mexico and Lubbock, TX.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, Finance or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
5+ years recent professional billing auditing or billing & coding experience
Required upon hire: Certified Professional Coder with clinic and hospital certifications
