Providence Associate Distribution Technician: Inventory Management in Lubbock, Texas
Description
Providence is calling an Associate Distribution Technician: Supply Inventory, Delivery, Receiving & Product Restock who will:
Be responsible for the distribution and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment to point-of-care locations throughout the campus independently or with indirect supervision
Use automated systems as tools
Perform physical inventories on regular intervals
Replenish and rotate stock
Facilitate complete capture of patient account charges
Adjust supply par levels as appropriate in concert with supervisor and manager
Keep point of care supply areas organized
Make recommendations for improvement
Be Responsible for maintaining the efficient functioning of the central supply and equipment inventories
Respond to customer supply orders for special items throughout the shift
Serve as a resource for less experienced staff
Receiving:
Unload and check in Delivery trucks
Receive product in using handheld scanner
Deliver packages throughout hospital
Move pallets throughout the hospital using pallet jacks
Keep loading dock/receiving office clean and safe
This role is an in-hospital position and will report into the hospital week over week. This role requires flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends, where you will work one or more the following work schedule: 6:00 am - 2:30pm.

Required qualifications for this position include:
- 1+ years experience in distribution / warehouse (Experience may include Inventory Management, or another related field)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Some community college
Meditech or other Materials Management Information System computer experience
